Chris lives in Queens, NY, and works in the field of deafblindness and special education and has specific expertise in cortical visual impairment. He is not a professional skateboarder or an oil painter focused on close-ups of mountain formations, although he shares a name with such people.

Chris’ illustration work has been featured in Virginia Quarterly Review, The Believer, Juxtapoz (online), The Literary Hub, Higher Arc, Poetry Ireland Review, Washington Square Review, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, Nashville Review, Nature Studies Journal, and 92Y's Podium.

For the past 12 years, Chris has been working on a graphic translation of Witold Gombrowicz's Cosmos, forthcoming from Siglio Press (publication planned for 2028/2029).
